In this round of Serie A, AC Milan defeated Inter Milan 3-2 at home. Leo scored twice and veteran Giroud also contributed a goal and an assist.
In the 54th minute of the match, Leo crossed in from the left and Giroud shot into the back corner from 10 yards in front, making it 2-1.
Six minutes later, Giroud also pitched in and assisted Léo to score.
Giroud received a high score of 8.2 from rating sites after the match.
Giroud was in great form, scoring four goals in his last four Serie A starts.
Giroud said after the match, "We all want to celebrate with the fans, we have a great team, with a strong team spirit and cohesion. We have a lot of young players and it's great to work with all this talent every day."
Giroud, 36, is also eager for the World Cup, despite not receiving a call-up to the France squad for the last four matches. "There is no doubt that playing at the World Cup in Qatar is a goal of mine and I am a strong contender for that position. I think I still have a chance and I can't say I haven't thought about it."
